Dear
Mother,
I
want to take this Valentine's Day 1994, to say how very
much I love you. You have been my inspiration in life. You
have given me so much love and moral support in all of my
trials and tribulations. You are so weak in body but yet
so strong in heart and God's will. If not for your caring
and your prayers, God only knows what would have become of
me. Thank you for that special love and understanding.
Out
of all the mothers in the world, I could not have been
blessed with a better Mother. It saddens me to my heart
when I see you sick or in pain. It frustrates me and hurts
me because there is not much that I can do to relieve your
pain. I feel so helpless. God gave you these eighty-one
years for a purpose. I believe in my heart that He knew
that I needed that inspiration to maybe carry on my life
and love Him and others as you have done for so many
years. I get my love for people from you and I am thankful
for that. You have shown your love for God in so many ways
and for this reason, I know that someday you will be among
his flock. There you will not hurt anymore or have to shed
tears of pain or grief Your life has encouraged me so much
that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God gives to
His own life eternal.
Life
has been very hard for us at times, Mom. But we have come
a long way and with God's help, we survived. We have
always been there for eachother and will continue to do
so. Forgive me for my fallacies Mom, I am only human.
Forgive me if I get irritable, I hurt sometimes too. I
guess a lot of folks would say that I am a little
reproduction of you, and that is terrific, because I
cannot think of anyone that I would rather be like than
you.
In
closing, I would like to say that you have been a very
wonderful Mother to me. Your kindness and humbleness
surpasses the best. Others may only see your weakness, but
I your daughter, sees much deeper.
Thank
you MOTHER for being my MOTHER!
I love you and Happy Valentine's Day...
Diana
